The band's first album was released on Roddy Moreno's Oi! Records. Moreno was (and remains) lead-singer with Welsh skinhead band The Oppressed and set up the UK chapter of SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice) in the late 1989.

It was produced by Jello Biafra collaborator Christian Lunch.

Bronco Bullfrog was influenced by the UK skinhead film from 1969 of the same name.

Steven Wells, reviewing the album for the NME, called it "truly inspired lyrically ... but hardly expanding the barriers of popular music as we know it" and gave it a respectable 7 / 10.

Sounds called it "pure anti-fascist Oi music".
