The Disinformation label was set up by Blaggers manager Al Rhodes after the band were dropped by EMI.

The etchings, penned - as always - by Matty, are thought to refer to an incident on the Manic Street Preachers tour in 1993 when, it was alleged, he hit a Melody Maker journalist in a Leeds nightclub.

Matty was arrested some weeks after the event and was charged. The case eventually came to Court in April 1995 and was dismissed on legal technicalities.

Goldfinger, of former Blaggers' cohorts Fun>da>mental, was to have appeared as a witness for the prosecution.

Sugar Ray presumably refers to the boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.
