This was rush-recorded to hit the shops one week before the 1992 general election. A Blaggers fan working for Woolworth's ensured that the single topped the store's singles chart for several weeks.

The trumpet riff on Before I Hang was nicked from 1970's kids TV programme Here Come the Double Deckers.
